FUSION INDUSTRY ASSOCIATION
One of my favorite projects so far was working alongside Carolyn Parrs (Mind Over Markets) for the Fusion Industry Association. The FIA is the international authority on fusion power commercialization, but they hit a wall.
Nearly every fusion company in the world had joined, but that was just one audience. They needed help broadening their message to policymakers, investors, the public, utility companies, and more... all under one brand message and website. Few people understand fusion power, and many misunderstand it.
I got to fly out to DC with Carolyn to meet with the FIA team in person for a one-day messaging strategy session.
Coincidentally, their CEO had to miss the first few hours to attend a press conference at the White House where fusion scientists announced one of their biggest breakthroughs yet (ignition had been achieved)!
The energy was so high, and we created a ton of clarity for them. They even got to put their messaging into action right away as their CEO used it to guide his conversations with reporters over the next few days. The website I wrote is one of my favorites.
This was the project where I really uncovered my love for helping complex and meaningful businesses find clarity. And where I became determined to work with more businesses fighting for sustainability and/or against climate change.
